Big Event is a Big Hit with Families

Disability Advice Project (DAP) supported Cwmbran’s Big Event at the Boating Lake on Saturday, 11 June.

DAP’s team ran a stall with a Play Your Cards Right game and crafts for sale. With more than 7,000 people attending, it provided a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about DAP’s services. DAP’s advisers were on hand to give information and answer people’s questions.

The Play Your Cards Right game and prizes were a big hit. There was plenty for all the family to enjoy with free arts and crafts, games, circus skills, a dog show and much more.

The Cwmbran Big Event is organised by Cwmbran Community Council and is supported by various partners, including Torfaen County Borough Council and Croesyceiliog and Llanyrafon Community Council.
