Pontypool Party in the Park

Party in the Park returned to Pontypool on Saturday 9 July. Around 3,000 people attended the event organised and managed by Pontypool Community Council.

Disability Advice Project supported the community celebration with a Play Your Cards Right game and prizes. DAP’s advisers were on hand to give information about the charity’s services.

There was plenty on offer for all the family with free activities for children including arts and crafts with Torfaen Play Service, balloon and bubble artists provided by Melin Homes, and tennis and golf activities with Torfaen Sports Development. Around 60 stalls offered a range of crafts and food.
