Disability Advice Project (DAP) raised an incredible £515 at its pop-up stall at Cwmbran Centre on Saturday 25 September. All proceeds go to DAP and its advice services for people with disabilities.
Pauline Jones, Joint Project Manager, DAP, said: “We would like to say a special thank you to Gail Armytage who donated high quality gift items for us to sell. Gail has supported our charity for years and we are so grateful for her generosity. We would also like to thank Cwmbran Centre for kindly providing the stall and our team of volunteers including a local woman, who despite having dementia, knitted beautiful scarfs and wrist warmers, which proved very popular.
This was our first fundraising event since covid and we were pleased to have so many people come along and support us. We are already planning our next event.”
