Disability Advice Project 20th anniversary celebration

The Disability Advice Project celebrated 20 years of providing specialist, independent, free advice to disabled people, their family and carers in the community of Torfaen and surrounding area. On behalf of the team, The Lord Major of Torfaen Councillor Veronica Crick presented Pauline Jones will a canvas capturing the last 20 years. The canvas was designed by Arwyn Thomas and features the names of everyone who has been part of the team over the last 20 years in the shape of the DAP logo. Pauline Jones said “DAP has helped over 50,000 people and brought in over £30m into the economy of Torfaen. This has been possible because of the dedicated and professional team of people who give their time and expertise to enable DAP to provide the vital services needed”. The evening was a huge success and raised £1,697 for DAP.
